The Westhill Summer Youth Recognition Awards & Leadership Program was a meaningful celebration of young people who are making a positive difference in our community. The event brought together youth, families, community leaders, supporters, and partners to recognize outstanding contributions in leadership, volunteerism, mentorship, community service, and positive impact. It was an inspiring occasion filled with encouragement, recognition, and a strong message about the power of young people to lead, serve, and create lasting change. We are proud of every youth who participated and grateful to everyone who helped make the program a success. Together, we continue to change the narrative, empower the next generation, and build a stronger West Hill community.

This free, family-friendly event will bring residents, families, youth, community partners, and neighbours together for a memorable day filled with live entertainment, children’s activities, sports and recreation, free food, ice cream, popsicles, photo opportunities, and much more. Our brand new central hub is officially opening on June 9, 2026! Learn about our vital programs in employment, family support, youth hub programming, and resource navigation designed to help residents connect, belong, and thrive.
On May 9, 2026, we hosted our annual Job Fair. A successful Job Fair that brought together employers, job seekers, community partners, and local residents. More than 600 community members attended and connected with employers, training providers, and community organizations.
