West Hill is a vibrant and diverse community located in eastern Toronto, within the Scarborough district. Officially designated as a Neighbourhood Improvement Area, West Hill is home to a mix of long-time residents, newcomers, families, and youth.

The neighbourhood is defined by a natural landscape of creeks and parks, with boundaries stretching from Livingston Road North (near the Canadian National Railway tracks), following West Highland Creek and Highland Creek, and curving down to Lake Ontario at East Point Park. From there, it traces west along the shoreline to West Hill Creek, then back north to the CN Railway line.

Known for its cultural richness and strong sense of community, West Hill also faces challenges including poverty, housing needs, and limited infrastructure support—making community development efforts vital for its future.
